BESPOKE FURNITURE PAINTING SERVICE:- Please be aware that each project will require a written contract that contains our terms and conditions. Whilst we may be able to provide draft quotes, no project is undertaken without the form written quote that becomes our contract upon receipt of deposit.
FURNITURE COURIER SERVICES:- Furniture Listed for sale on our website is for collection only unless specified specifically in the furniture listing and is subject to any restrictions in the listing. We can provide the information for trusted courier service to deliver our pieces to you, provide a collection and return service for the bespoke furniture painting service. We are also happy to work with any courier you appoint to act as your agent to collect furniture. This is a service not provided by the Crafty Nest. Couriers are to be paid directly by our customers and most usually in cash.

Commissioned items painted to your specification or otherwise personalised items cannot be refunded. This does not affect statutory rights.
For purchases of vintage painted furniture from the website, please ensure you measure correctly. Returns are accepted provided the buyer contacts us within 14 days of purchase and returns the item to us within 28 days of purchase. Not that Buyer is to organise return delivery, with signed for, insured and tracked delivery. Returns must also be wrapped to protect the finish and the piece must be returned in the condition as originally recieved. For items received back damaged or scratched, a fee to repair to the condition as when purchased will be deducted from refund price. If the item is not deemed to be in a saleable condition due to damage in transit or attempts to maneuver incorrectly, a refund will not apply. To avoid this type of scenario, we strongly advise using appropriate courier services
Do note that vintage furniture is not new furniture. The pieces have had a past life and, while completely fit for purpose, will show signs of this past life which may take the form of dents, past repairs etc that help form part of their character. Some may have locks but are not working locks - where locks are fully functional, we will indicate in our description. Do note, that as regards locks and hinges, over time you may be required to perform maintenance such as tightening screws or using WD40. When using WD40, please ensure you take steps to protect the paint finish. As regards any items with electrical components, unless a PAT test has been performed and attached, these will be disabled and the Buyer has the responsibility to ensure a qualified electrician has performed a PAT test prior to use. For this reason, pieces of vintage furniture are not otherwise advertised as having electrical components and are disabled.
CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS
For all classes, these are booked on an as needed basis one to one or in your own small group, in your home or venue. You will be requried to ensure adequate coverings for flooring, soft furnitunishes etc in your home. We are not responsible for any accidental spillage. Kindly ensure that you mark your diaries as once booked and materials ordederd, classes are non-cancelable and non-refundable. We can, however, reschedule with up to two dates offered. Anything after this is non-refundable. The materials purchased, however, are yours and can be collected from us.
Classes are tailored to your specification. After agreeing details and material with us, we will send you an invoice.
We no longer provide a regular gift certificate service. We can, however, organise limited gift certificates on an as needed basis. Please contact us to discuss.
